Exclamation New Design -- Vaelos

(Pronounced VEE-los)...

This is a simple design that RockSim says has decent performance and Dv numbers. I might suggest building the open-frame fins up from separate pieces rather than trying to cut a one-piece fin. The grain of each piece is what gives it the strength and rigidity to hold up under flight stress.

Length: 20.70"
Diameter: 1.04" (ST-10)
Fin Span: 6.59"
Weight: 1.26 oz

A8-3......219'......Dv <3 FPS
B4-4......492'......Dv 9 FPS
B6-4......497'......Dv 13 FPS
C6-5......997'......Dv 9 FPS

All engines reach safe flight V on a standard 36" x 1/8" rod.

Enjoy!
