Jay,
There was a post on YORF or TRF warning about a vendor (it could have been this guy) doing upscales. I can't find the original post.
This "vendor" would post face cards but no pictures of the finished models.
The picture of parts show a black and white copy of the Semroc instructions.
I'm sorry to see this. Some people have no respect for the original designer or idea.
I have nothing against somebody doing a single upscale or downscale.
If they go into production and make money off your work it's another story.
In entertainment, I've been ripped off many times over the years.
These are the same people who say:
"You didn't come up with that. There's nothing new under the sun!"
They are always so surprised when I show them the Copyright forms.
Years ago I took some comedy workshop classes in L.A.
Our instructor talked about ownership of original material, He said:
"It takes talent to create, it just takes nerve to steal."
If somebody were to copy my Odd'l Rockets instructions like this . . .
I've got too many hours of time and money invested just to give it away.
