Right, the key word there was recommended and at the time Estes wasn't recommending composite motors in their kits and I wasn't fully aware of the Aerotech lines and what was available in my area was limited. The kit was designed and marketed to be flown on e11 p but I don't know how they thought that was reasonable flight performance on the motors that they made..
