Even on a 12" chute the Cherokee-D had high potential of drifting away.
I learned the hard way after losing 3 of them on D12-7's back in the day.
I switched to long (90") streamers instead.

I lost a Cherokee D at NARAM 50 with just nose blow!  No chute or even a streamer!
