The Centuri Javelin was the first model rocket that I built. That was in December of 1966,
I built and painted the Javelin on the day before Christmas
and we launched it twice Christmas day at about 11:00 AM.
The Javelin flew to about 500-600 Ft. and that was on an A.8-4 engine. there was snow on the ground and the Jade green paint was very easy to see. I don't know what became of that Javelin, I have some real old rockets that go back to those days, but Don't know about the Javelin.
