Apogee says, "Two stage, REMOVE PAYLOAD BAY - NOTE: RockSim says this is underpowered and unstable, however in our test flights it worked alright. Launch on an 8ft rod on extremely calm days only!!"

It is under a pound with all tubes, but the third tube was a marketing stunt in 1984 and not "needed". Because it is a long rocket either way, the standard 3/16" or 1/4" rods are just fine.

So much for Rocsim as being better than a string test! This is a VERY stable and light rocket for Estes BP 29mm motors. It originally was designed around our F20-0 to F20-4 direct staged composites!
