That was my first otter. Not something I expected to see in the middle of Ohio. Shows what I know.

Otters were reintroduced to Ohio in the mid-80s - they’ve pretty much spread to most of the state. Otters are on the list for seasonal trapping though with pretty strict bag limits. |
