If you plan to use that plastic shock cord mount again (although there's no need--Roy Houchin kindly demo'ed a replaceable shock cord anchor that I designed https://www.apogeerockets.com/educa...wsletter231.pdf , and Chris Michielssen developed an easy-to-rig variation for Kevlar shock cords: https://www.apogeerockets.com/educa...wsletter338.pdf ), packing the 'chute in a slick-fabric deployment sheet or bag (like a sheet of Teflon, say) would facilitate it slipping past the plastic anchor at ejection.
