I've decided to switch from foamboard for the body to plywood. I've never used foamboard, and when I went to buy it I wasn't impressed.

One of the biggest issues is how easy the paper peels away from the foam. And the other is there's no good way to repair it once it gets a crease in it.

By the time I reinforce the foam board with basswood backer boards, and then screw through the foam into that backer board, I might as well just use plywood.

Woodworking is another hobby of mine, so I've got the tools.

Hoping to get out to the barn and start construction. Templates are cut and ready to transfer to the plywood.
