It's a mixture of both. It uses the thrust curve from NAR datasheet, but not the tested delay. Rocksim uses exactly 3 seconds (in the case of the A10-3T) instead of the 2.35 seconds measured during the test. The user would need to key in the 2.35 in order to more exactly simulate the delay.
