Today, in the interest of Y-Wing preservation, I sliced away the original shock cord at the spot where they had it attached in the body tube, then glued in a length of Kevlar using the Estes tri-fold method. Everything fits back in, so I'm hoping to try flying it sometime over the upcoming holiday weekend.
