Today I picked up an Estes "Classic Series" Hornet at the local hobby shop. Following in the classic vein, the kit comes with a balsa nose cone and an Olde Skool brown body tube [EDIT: I misspoke. The tube is a normal white one.] Apparently these kits had just arrived and I bought one of the first ones.

As part of the Semroc Christmas sale about a month ago, I had picked up a Magnum Hornet kit so I just couldn't let the Estes "new" old Centuri Hornet go by without taking a shot at it.

While at the LHS today I also picked up an Estes CC Express that I will be bashing into a Cherokee Double D but that's the subject of another/future thread.
