This sealed box of Centuri Akela Cub Scout kits has been listed for several weeks now with no bids. Box looks pretty much mint. Not a bad price for parts to make 8 rockets, even by today’s prices.

Not my listing nor do I know the lister.

Well, this is far from a 'deal', but interesting. A Centuri Space: 1999 Eagle set still sealed in shrink wrap. I think this is one of the highest prices paid for a Centuri starter set that I have seen on ebay. Final price was $585.

This set, in any condition, does not come up often but it went for even more than I thought it would. Starting price was $250.

Back in the 1980's I had the choice of the 1999 Eagle Starter Set or the Evel Knievel Sky Cycle. I chose the Sky Cycle.

The 1999 Eagle was a much better set.
The Sky Cycle was only marginally better than the full-scale IDIOT-Cycle.
At least the model does not "Yank the Leever" prematurely.

Local pickup only. I’m surprised the seller is brave (or audacious) enough to actually HAND that to someone.
