Smile Original NAR Model Rocket Motor Technical Reports 1962-63

Attached are NAR Technical Reports describing the model rocket motors that were available in 1962-63. These were given to me by John Rahkonen about 15 years ago. Scott, you can post these on Ye old Rocket Plans if you want.

Way to go! Thank-you.

Quickly browsing through a few of these, I notice a general lack of dates. Any way of getting a publication date for all of these?

The first pdf (on page 3) gives a May 1962 issue date. They all appear to be early 60s for the most part. Certainly all pre-1968 since they are all English measure. But, probably all are early 60s would be my guess.

Very interesting!

I had heard of ProDyne motors, but never knew the details.

Yes they all date to 62-63. I can produce some documenting data from old American Modeler magazines from 62-63 where G.Harty Stine makes comments about them.

Also the letter head shows the NYC 1962 mail drop address except for the last one which shows Stamford,CT where GHS lived from 62 onward till he moved to AZ.

Thanks for posting these here, Terry! Unfortunately, my computer that had the website software on it croaked back in 2011. That's why that site hasn't been updated since then. I put everything in the forum now.

Ok that's fine. As long as they are available to future rocketeers.

I've seen that chart in TR-25 reprinted in a model aeronautics annual from 1965, so it dates from sometime before that.
