Default Last Weeks Completed Builds

Last week I completed six rockets that I started around mid august. High humidity prevented me from painting for a while so things kind of piled up.

They are an Estes Black Brant II, Ricochet, Rascal, and Javelin. Two Custom rockets, a Scavenger and a Satellite Drone. The Ricochet was interesting in that it was from the era of the lead in plastic scare of 2010 so it has all balsa parts and a parachute with an apology note on it being plain (no color pattern). I am working on a Photon Disruptor from the same time frame, large balsa nose cone and a plain red parachute.

Have eight in the que now, ranging from an Estes Stealth to a new Estes Antar.

I like that Rascal.
Looks a bit like a FIREWORK ready to explode.

I recently acquired an old opened Estes Menace kit.
Debating on DELIBERATELY mis-locating the CG so it flies in a truly MENACING manner.

They all look great!
I have never seen or heard of the Scavenger before - Is it bt60? and does it have a tapered tail cone?

Also like the 'old folks' swing set in the background

IIRC the Scavenger is (or was) Custom’s only 24MM powered rocket.

Nice looking group. I've had that Black Brant ready to go since 2001. For some reason it never seems to make it to the queue-top, but I'm thinking this winter will be the time.

It's a Canadian rocket/bird, so you have to wait till it snows for scale realism.

Jam a huge engine in it for a scale-like first flight.
A 24mm Aerotech F32 would doo nicely.
The scale profile of Black Brants feature NO recovery, so if lost it is further representing a scale flight.

What about the Custom Liberty, this is one of the best D powered kits that there ever was.
