This "vendor" would post face cards but no pictures of the finished models.
The picture of parts show a black and white copy of the Semroc instructions.

Same guy.

If they go into production and make money off your work it's another story.

This is it in a nutshell.

It's been pointed out this guy has done this before, and he keeps popping up on eBay under different names.

Thanks for your support and feedback, everybody!

Hi Jay!

Jay,

When I saw the up-scale offer, I wondered if it was yours. Not surprised that it is the same doofus.

I'd go with a Fishhead hit for $800, Alex...

None of which implies any sort of legal protection, do you have any?

Note I am not the seller, just wondering other than a threat what do you have?

Ebay frowns on copyright infringement, so he has that.

This guy is a complete scam artist. Keeps changing his ebay name. He's been selling the same Neubauer Gemini Titan kit over and over and doesn't even realize that he isn't spelling Neubauer correctly. Here he is again with a brand new identity, and zero feedback.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-1-30-s...r-/251473032582

He has been doing the same thing with "SUPER ENLARGED" versions of lots of models, again offered under a variety of seller names. What is very curious is that he originally offered these models under the name of "Thehobbyguru" and actually received 17 positive feedback. I can't believe any of these models were real and am highly suspicious the feedback was manufactured by buying from himself under false names.

Anybody here actually purchase one of these items and receive it?

This guy is a hoot! He's been trying to sell a giant 1b "kit" for a while, advertising that it'll take a month to ship - isn't that the time limit to file a Paypal claim? Some poor naieve soul actually bought one about a week ago, but was supposedly told by this clown's wife that it wasn't going to be available and his money was refunded - which is hard to believe. I wouldn't worry about this guy selling too much. He actually has a negative feedback rating on one of his accounts now, I've never seen that before.

You should have patented the design if you feel that strongly about it. Copyright is not going to do you much other than maybe the actual instructions, the example art photo, website photos.

No I am not the guy selling...I'm just saying.

I doubt he will go far selling anything with his rating on eBay anyway.
