Default The return of TAU PI -Y

Tau Pi-Y

This is an old RS8 design re-done in RS9 as you can see, it looks a whole lot better in RS9

Length: 571.14 mm, Diameter: 41.66 mm, Span diameter: 224.86 mm

Mass: 98.268 g, Selected stage mass 98.268 g

CG: 426.49 mm, CP: 476.36 mm, Margin 2.59 (no motor)

Engines -- B4-4, B6-4, C6-5

There my be a bug in RS9 with it's calculation of Velocity at Deployment .

The numbers I was getting of this design don't mach the number in RS8.

And as this has flown on the above engines.

I remember when you first sent us these plans, Andrew. The model looks great! Nice flight shots, too. RockSim can indicate a model should fly, but seeing the model in action is the real proof of concept.
