Der Red Max Discontinued
It looks like Estes has discontinued the Der Red Max kit (#0652).
It is no longer on the Estes website and a search turns up the kit parachute and other products using 'Red' or 'Max' in their name. Perhaps it will return at a future date.

Christ, it's about time. Now the clowns can demand big $ for a saturated kit.

I didn't interpret his statement as Red Max Hate. I think it was more a comment on people charging big bucks for "OOP - Rare!" kits that are very abundant despite being OOP.

Oh. Anyway, off to buy a dozen Red Max kits now that I know they will be worth $200 PLUS shipping each. |

I should have stockpiled the Mega Der Red Max. Was $53.99 six years ago; now $250 (https://www.ebay.com/c/1801564267).

I’ve seen the Mega go for that much. I wish I’d bought some when Fry’s Electronics near me was selling them on clearance for $10 each.
