Default Semroc Hydra VII fin patterns

I scanned and redrew fin patterns for the Semroc Hydra VII. See attached. I have an original fin pattern sheet (FV-29) that I used for this little project.

I experience rescaling issues when I converted my Illustrator drawing to PDF format. I compensated, and at least on my printer, the drawings come out true to scale. Please print out the attached file, print it, and report back to this thread with comments.

How about including the tube lengths and Nose Cone length, so this may be properly cloned ?

All parts lengths and other measurements can be accessed on the Semroc site by typing the Part # in the box and clicking the view box. Part D, Part G and the decals are no longer available from Semroc. I have located a nosecone that is 1/2 inch longer and Balsa Tube coupler from another source. My Semroc order was shipped this morning for the available parts. I think the artwork for the decals can be accessed on the RocSim Software.

FYI - The SEMROC website's "functionality" is rapidly dwindling, many links are inactive or lead to missing files. If anyone is looking for any other info, I suggest making a "beeline" to the website, ASAP, before it's too late.

I got the tube lengths I needed . . . Barely !

Those who care about this kind of stuff have been diligent over at least the past 6 months already.

I have the part to build an exact clone of the Hydra VII, but I more inclined to develop a clone that others can build. Not having ST-16 tubing or that 3.6" diameter tail ring shouldn't be an obstacle for this crowd.

1690 = 9" long
790 = 9" long
3630 = 3.0" long
1631 = 3.1" long
714 = 1.4" long

There is no 30" long tube on the Hydra VII. The tail ring is 3.6" diameter and has a length of 3.0", hence the 3630 designation for that tube.

Thanks for the correction . . . I had a typo and left out the "." by mistake.

The correct length for the 3.6" diameter tube is 3.0".
