18” BT58 needed
E-rockets is out of stock and will be for a few more months, is there any other source that anyone knows of for these tubes, BT58 x 18” long?
Need 8 of them for a special build project. Thank you!

Does it have to exactly match BT-58 ID/OD? Apogee sells a 40mm tube that has ID/OD of 1.575/1.595”, but only 9” long. Quest has 40mm X 18” body tubes, but their website does not list ID or OD.

1.540 Od > which is 39.12mm
I really can’t go any larger than the BT 58 I’ll check further on the quest tubes. E Rockets have the BT 58 in 12” tubes, just didn’t want to have to join them and fill any sand, but might have to if he doesn’t get them in in a couple of months. Thank you!

How about slightly smaller? BT-56 is 1.304". Somebody might have it in stock in 18" lengths. It's the Maniac/Eliminator tube. Also the Challenger II, Astrocam, Chrome Dome, Gold Strike, Cosmic Cobra, HeliCat and probably other kits. Maybe you have one or two of these stashed and can rob one if the tubes are long enough. BMS has 34" coupler tubes that are slightly smaller than a BT-60. The C60-34 is 1.59" diameter and 34" long. IIRC, they aren't coated with glassine, so you'd probably be better off labor wise by getting the short BT-58 pieces and join them.

Great info, didn’t think about that. The quest might be the closes as compared to the BMS coupler.
Thank you!

It's the tube size used for the 1/100 LJ II and Apollo service module.

Yes sir, Randy just got back with me, it will be late summer now for those tubes from eRockets.
I’ll see what quests has to say. May have to do the spice. I’m not fully ready anyway to start this project. Will be late March, just pulling things together. Thanks!
