Introducing myself and showing off what I am working on right now. Just a simple Estes Guardian, my re-entry plunge back into the hobby after a long break. Here are some of the build photos so far. Will get more up when my wife brings back the camera later on today.

Now there's a paint scheme you don't see everyday. Looks great and welcome to the forum.

You're not planning on doing your own motor reloads are you?

Sorry, but Estes motors won't fit into 5.56NATO stripper clips.

Is that from a short launch rod and some extra nose weight? You should be getting at least 3,000 FPS with a mag full of C6-5's.

Here are better photos, before I do a Future coat on it. White stars had to get some hand painting on them due to the blue bleeding through the masking and the black lifted some as well but overall I am happy with it.

You know I think one of the reasons I picked this rocket in the first place was that it looked like a big 5.56 round with wings

Nice scheme. But a glass hammer, what looks like a bong, and leather straps? I'm sure they fit into rockets somehow....

In case you haven't noticed, we look at EVERYTHING in a picture. Welcome to the forum
