Default Omega Payload and Der V-1.5

The Omega Payload section like the original K-52P is online.

The Der V-1.5 is coming online in the next 24 hours. It is a half scale of the Der V-3.

I wonder how many people remember/owned a Der V-3 kit?

It look like Carl remembers it.

My Der V-3 model met it's demise as a motor test rocket when I was working at AeroTech. Too many E15 and E30 motor flights tore out the motor mount tube (But my re-inforced centering rings were still intact).

I kept the remains thinking that some day I would do something with it.

I ended up recycling the nose cone for use with my recently built Estes Maxi Alpha clone, made with Semroc parts.

Default Omega Payload

Sorry, the Omega Payload kits do not have serial numbers. Carl forgot to mention this.

Evidently many do. We sell quite a few of the fin sets. It was a very limited run, so many probably missed it the first time.

When I got back into the hobby in 2004 ,the Der V-3 was my first all scratch built rocket.
It's last flight was August 25, 2012 on a SU E20-7 great flight . Rocket is a little beat up but still great flyer.

I probably average one Der V-3 decal every other month.

I wasn't buying or flying rockets when the Der V-3 was out, but I have always been interested in it since I learned of it. A half-scale one is a cool idea!

What does the Omega Payload consist of? The specs on the product page seem to be for the entire rocket.

It is the BNC-60AH, BT-60R, NB-60, SE-1 and decal. The specs are for performance details when flown with the carrier.

Carl,

You might want to tweak that description page a bit. I, too, was a little confused as to exactly what the Omega Payload kit consisted of.
