Cox Nike Zeus
This is a reproduction of the Cox Model Rockets Nike Zeus kit sold in the early 1970s that you can download for free from Thingiverse and print on your 3D printer.
It's a two-stage model that uses an 18mm motor in each stage. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5901003 |

Unless you have old 18mm Cox D8-0 or old Estes B14-0 or B8-0 motors, it's too heavy to fly 2-stage.
A B6-0 or C6-0 won't doo in the booster and keep it flying straight. Needs a modern 24mm booster.

Or it can use an 18mm D composite motor.
I have now included 24mm motor mount rings. |

There are no composite booster motors. One could make one work, but I wouldn't trust it and it would not be safety code approved if you care about that stuff.

Thank you, Jack! I have an original but it's cool to know a clone can now be printed.
