Congrats to the women for their stellar accomplishment, but I still consider all forms of soccer to be a waste of good grass...

Did you guys know that the Women's world cup team practices for games by scrimmaging an Under 16 Boys team. The 14-16 yr old boys always beat them.....badly.....

I think it is HILARIOUS yet highly likely that the 14-16yr old USA Boys national soccer team regularly stomps the US Women's adult national soccer team.

Not a national U-16 Boys team. Just a local traveling U-16 team from where the Women's team practice. They used to do an U-18 team, but they were way too rough. |

From what I remember, the beat downs were in the 90's and 00's before the Women's teams were anything close to being good, much less world beating. I think they've scrimmaged older teams 17-18+ in recent years with mixed success.

That's like saying NAR junior competitors won after competing against mid-range or seniors. Yes, of course. That's why there are differences in competitive segments between men and women and age brackets. Not a surprise but apparently an attack against PC!
