As for rocketry and the forums, I've been around both for just about as long as anyone and I've pretty much seen, heard, known and read every personality type there is, some are good, others not so much. The forums take on the personality of the person it belongs to, if you like it/them, stay, if not move on but once you've said you're moving on, for the love of Pete, just do it.

The one thing about all of it I find amusing, is that ANYONE of us, thinks our personal absence from any forum, will have any kind of lasting affect. I've never seen anyone's withdawal make any significant impact on a club, board, PTA, organization or forum for that matter. Most of the time the person is never missed or mentioned again. As TB said, that's life. Millions died yesterday but the sun still came up today. Life does go on.

For 99% of us, when all is said and done, rocketry is a hobby, it's not life & death, not all important, not God, and no matter how much we might enjoy it, it's just 1 small aspect of the universe. Quite insignificant actually. Those that can't see that or act accordingly need some help. I suppose to some it's amazing that man got to the moon without hobby rocketry or forums or their opinions on such.

Since the first day I found rmr the same handful of people have been going at each other where ever they run into one another. Might I suggest accepting the fact that after almost 20+ years you are never going to resolve your differences and now it's time to let whatever got it all started in the first place go too. It all reminds me of the 100 year feud between the Hatfields and McCoys. They've been fighting so long they don't remember why. Except for a few T-shirts 16-17 years ago, I've never read anything that suggests Jerry or anyone else, is worthy of death or carrying a grudge against for soooo long. That kind of hate against him or anyone else requires a lot of time and energy. No thanks.

Being from a family that has a lot of Cherokee heritage I've heard many "old indian sayings" in my life. My dad's favorite was "that which angers you, owns you." Corny or not, it's true.

If you like TRF, be there, if it's YORF, or both, do that, but once you've gone out on a limb and said what you have to say, have some class and follow through or stay, and never mention whatever it was again.

Life is too short for all that crap.

Yep, 109 posts and counting about what is or is not going on on ANOTHER forum. I like a healthy debate as much as the next person but let's not all get so consumed in the 'car wrecks' that we forget about cars, engines, tires, bikini girls, tools, bikini girls, well....you ge the idea.

Let's get back to rockets or some other, more constructive discussions... like bikini girls.

You know, if the Madison Avenue Boys over at TRF would post some bikini girls in their pop-ups, I suspect there would be far fewer complaints. Of course, I could be wrong.

Earl, if Scott wants to post some lingerie ads, I won't complain.

Nice! But she better be careful if that's a jetpack in that last photo. Otherwise "them's gonna be some toasted buns."

They're from some convention where they're doing "cosplay" but I think she's doing it wrong. She doesn't look anything like the Cos.
