FYI Hobbylinc and Belleville Hobby both show it in stock.

Unfortunately John, as I’m sure you’re well aware, their shipping costs wipe out any cost savings.

Belleville’s shipping is higher than I’ll pay but that’s me. I’ve only bought from them when I had a coupon that made it palatable.

Hobbylinc’s is on a sliding scale - IIRC once you get above a certain dollar amount it’s less than $12, and they ship BP motors USPS 3rd Class/Ground Only so no hazmat fee. Hobbylinc is my go to source when I want bigger BP motors and don’t want to wait to buy them from a launch vendor.

There’s been mega pixels of discussion here and on TRF over whether Hobbylinc follows the rules when it comes to hazmat, which I’m not going to debate - when I’m out of Estes 29mm E/F and they have them that’s where I order them, y’all do what your conscience directs as you see fit.

Regardless, all hobby stuff is a “want” not a “need” so it always comes down to how bad a want it is - if it’s bad enough there’s a way to rationalize the purchase 😉

John,

What’s the certain dollar amount do you have to get to for the decent shipping fee?

I answered from memory - they do have a sliding scale but the way to get the lowest cost shipping is to buy E/F BP motors - shipping automatically goes to 3rd Class/Ground Only. Like I said earlier, they’re my source for Estes 29mm motors, typically I only buy from Hobbylinc when I need some.
