Photon Phamily Photos
I finished my Photon Disrupter so I took a photo of it with my 1970-Something original smaller sized #1282. I dug out the Photon Probe I completed in July and took a photo of the two together.
I did fly my old Photon Disrupter earlier this year but the 40+ year old rubber shock cord simply fell apart, so this rocket is now "retired" from active duty. I never use rubber cords anymore.... |

You should display them next to a F-4 Phabulous Phantom.

[QUOTE=EchoVictor]Ph*cking phenomenal!
My compliments on your phinishing skills. Has the big one phlown yet? No, have not phlown the Large Disruptor yet, but the Photon Probe has. I tend to use Elmer's Phil n Phinish (applied with a phoam brush and then sanded) on nose cones and Brodak Sanding Sealer on phins. Kind of split on applying the Brodak after the phin is glued on (generally the smaller ones) or sanding before gluing on. I have 3 more of the large Disruptor kits and thinking of doing them in different center band colors (pink, yellow, and green). Last edited by Don Altschwager : 10-03-2021 at 11:52 AM. I actually have something to add to the discussion. I'm 54% phinished with a BT-80 Photon Probe/Disrupturer. I think I started it a phew years back, like maybe 12 or so, but couldn't make myselph believe it would hold together under thrust. I bought 1/8" balsa a phew years back intending to phinish it, but those planks wound up being used phor other projects. I guess I need to hit Hobby Lobby this week to see iph the stock has been replenished.
