Default 1/21 scale R/C X-15 Flights

Here is my latest kit, inspired by the new Apogee kit, but of course I designed this to be half the weight so it can actually glide, ready to fly at 7.5 oz with motor, designed for 18mm D-13 and D-24 motors as they are very light and the CG shift is not very much, boost speed is about 170mph or scale speed of a little over Mach 5. Length 29", wingspan 14", diameter 2.6" Starting to ship next week when I get in the smaller motor tubes and carbon fiber rods. I will also start to carry the casings complete with plugged forward closure, the plugged closures by themselves and the D-24 reloads. Those are on order with Aerotech now but have a 2-3 week wait for the casings.
Kit will be $70.99 shipped, decals available from Stickershock23.com via a link in the online instructions, this is so you can do your own if you want to save $$. For my first run I'm ordering the decals to go with the kit for $15 which saves shipping for you if you want. First run will go out sometime next week then it will be listed on the website as normal.

You can see how it goes together here: https://dynasoarrocketry.com/?page_id=7001

That was awesome. Surprised at how quick it reached altitude.
