Default More New Estes Kits for 2009

Posted with permission. Here is the new line up of Wal-Mart kits for this year. As with the Classic Line announced earlier, these are held up due to the CPSIA testing.

Wow! I must say, I'm impressed by those designs. They're finally getting back to all the great sci-fi designs they had in the '80s.

Did I read that right that these will only be sold through Wal-Mart?

Wow, those are really nice! I'm gonna have to get another part time job to increase my
modroc budget as well as figure where to display.

Where did you read that these will be sold at Wal-Mart? That would be super if true!

I was told this was the kit line proposed and accepted by Wal-Mart. I'll have to check and see if they will also be available at other chain stores, hobby shops, etc....

I realize it's a simple design but I like the 7202 Comet Chaser. I think that would make a nice two stage design and would be worth designing a booster for it .....

I thought it was Merrill Lane's Loadlifter 1-A. We were trying to get a limited run of it for Merrill to hand out at OOR, but we got way to busy. Great design then and now.

I brought mine to NARAM, but never got around to flying it. All I ended up with was a dent in the payload during shipping.

Now that I looked at the Loadlifter 1-A in plan 19 I see why I liked the design of the Comet Chaser so much. I didn't realize until you mentioned it that I was looking at that design.

Did you finish yours like the picture in the plans with NASA on the payload section and stripes on the fins?
