I know Chris at Odd’l is having some supply issues, like most kit makers. You might try contacting him directly, possibly through his model rocket building blog.

I did email Chris about these kits being eternally on backorder. He said that the manufacturer who makes the Centuri type 1.8" tubing which is used in these kits lost the mandrel to make the tubes so they have been unable to procure said tubes. I was hoping someone on this forum might have one of these kits sitting around that they might be willing to part with. My niece has been begging me for one for a Christmas present so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

The only ones left are 4.9” or less in length. Which is not long enough for the green man.

Makes me wonder if Randy uses the same source for his tubes and if other mandrels have been lost. I have not seen ST-7 and ST-13 full length tubes (18") in stock at eRockets for about year now or more.

Or it may be that the new owners of the paper tube company are not interested in small quantity orders.
