The Airborne Surveillance Missile is begging for a gap stage conversion. I think I have a couple of kits. I may have to do that someday. To get it back, I'd probably have to boost on a 1/2A3-0, which would mean tbzep Industries would have to start production again.

I love sanding.

I flew mine once and retired it. The chute got tangled in the laser pods and I had to make a few repairs. I figured it would happen about every time it flew, so it became my first hangar queen back in the late 70's.

I have my original still, but it is in pieces because I decided to "restore" it back in 2001. I also have another 1970's version that is built, but as yet unflown. I need to look into rectifying that situation.

The Estes X-wing is another fine example of a rocket begging for Hi-Thrust Quest/Aerotech 18mm C or D power.
