Hopefully AC Supply is not affected by the St. Louis area flooding....

Also, from looking at the posted instructions on the Estes site, it looks like is has those neat assembly jigs that John Boren cooks up for several aspects of the build.

I ordered two SOTs from AC Supply Wednesday morning (Along with a few other items to reach that free shipping cutoff).

My order shipped via UPS Wednesday afternoon and is scheduled to arrive this Saturday.

That's pretty fast for run-of-the-mill ground shipping.

It is. I have a motor order from them (mostly motors) that was picked up on July 18th according to USPS tracking....and then it just disappeared.

But I can do as you did and order other things...and they'll ship UPS which works better it seems.

I once had an engine order, that I needed soon for a launch, go back and forth between St Louis and Minnesota (and back to St Louis). I contacted AC Supply, and they sent me an identical order, which got here in time. They said if the original order showed up, to use the free shipping label the e-mailed to me. And sure enough, the original order showed up a few days after the first one, and I sent that back at no cost.

THAT is the biggest reason why I promote AC Supply every chance I get. GREAT service.

And they don't have the "baggage" that a certain brick & mortar HOBBY dealer has.

AC Supply seems to have sold out of these very quickly.

That's what I get for thinking about it for a day.
