I have the old Neubauer 1/100th Jupiter C, Mercury Redstone, Mercury Atlas, and Gemini Titan to fill out my Estes 1/100 Saturns and LJII. It make an awesome display in my living room. Particularly when you look at the growth of "state of the art" between the Mercury Redstone (1961) and Saturn V (1968) - simply amazing, all the more so when you remember most of that was done with sliderules and notepads - digital computers still being in their infancy.
Now I'm going to have to figure out how to make room to add the Skylab Saturn V and 1B to the display (like gh I'm just waiting for AC to get them in stock).

The CM is the same as the CM of the #1969. The tank fairing is styrene and I don't know if it's the same as the vintage 1B kit fairing or not, but it looks very nice. The fins and nozzles are styrene. Each fin is one piece and not two halves and so is each nozzle. The antennas and conduits are styrene.

Note how the blow-molded LEM fairing is slightly different from the #1969 in that is has a detail on both shoulders--for cutting(?) The #1969 is on the left the #7251 is on the right.

The upper body wrap, interstage wrap, and lower body wrap are vacu-formed and are VERY thin.
I'll need to select my adhesive carefully for these.

The instruction booklet is 16 pages. Shown here is the painting guide page and the decal placement guide page. Note that the painting guide page shows CG. Nice!

Hey Steve, well I guess I’ll have to get one too!😀

Someone reported that the Saturn 1B main body tube is a little larger than BT80 and that the new LEM Fairing is also just a touch larger than the 1969 ver.

Is that what you see also?
