3" SA Archer 14 down scale
The attached SA Archer information is a down scale from the old Estes NCR SA Archer 14 from near 4" to 3" thin walled tubing.
All the parts besides the fins are available from Balsa Machine Shop I know the front strake fin pattern is correct, but could only trust what was available online for the rear fins. They look very close to me. The motor tube was set at 14" and moved 1/2 pass aft of rocket for Estes retainer and move the aft centering ring to base of the rocket for more strength for landings. So these parts isn't scaled located to the original design. I view them as improvements. The BMS Nose Cone is close enough for me, being with in 1" of original, that being 11" in place of 12" down scale ver. I also left the main airframe at 34" which means this model is with in about 1.5" of original design, with this model coming out just over 1.5" longer. Enjoy!
