I always liked this design, gracing the cover of the 1977 Estes catalog. That was the last catalog I received from penrose, and the hobby faded for me shortly after. I was fortunate to find a vintage rainbow-hangtag kit a few years back.

I've got an original kit, almost finished, hanging off my ceiling. It has been primed and base coated white, but I just never got around to doing the finishing touches before I ran out of steam. I've been in a building funk for a while now. Maybe life will slow down for me after this year.

I understand the building funk, life's thrown some curveballs at me, so building this winter is nearly non-existent. Hoping for a better 2022, but it's off to a crappy start.
