I used a Big Daddy cone on my scratch DoorKnob. It's also the same nosecone from the older Phoenix .

Thank you for all the information on the Omega upscale. I’m thinking too, if you use a Big Daddy or Doorknob nose cone and get some T300 BT’s from BMS, CR’s and fin set from BBR you could build a really nice upscale of the #2035 Optima.

Close, but not quite, Big Daddy and Doorknob are 3" OD, Phoenix is 2.6" OD.

Now that you tease it, a 3" Phoenix would be très bien.

071035 – NC-80K Nose Cone available at Estes for $4.49, which is very reasonable in price.
