Whalburgers is a restaurant started by the Wahlberg's, a Boston based family with several of the siblings being somewhat famous.
Donnie Wahlberg, best known as Danny on the T.V. show "Blue Bloods".
I just read an online story about Donnie.
It was interesting.
This guy grew up just 45 miles south of me and I never knew it. Dang!
Anyway, they started a restaurant business and it seems like it was thriving.
I was living in Michigan when they opened a restaurant in Taylor, MI.
I was there for opening day.
I was hoping to meet the boys but only one was there.
The chef of the family and his mother.
I got both their autographs and offered congratulations on their success.
My lady and I ordered their family burger and thought it was OK.
My sides were good but not as good as In and Out Burger or Five Fries.
A year later, they closed the doors due to a lack of business.
I don't know why that was but the other restaurants are thriving.
Eleven in all.

My eldest daughter was a "New Block On The Kids' fan.
She was supposed to meet Donnie at a birthday party but he never showed.
He sent autograph pillows to each of the guest and called it a day. Ok
