Default Falcon 9 Starlink 4-21

Another successful Falcon 9 launch this morning, putting up the Starlink 4-21 payload. SpaceX is punching out so many launches, it's hard to keep up with them.

Yep. And the second booster to have flown 13 times so far. Those landings just never get old.

Now that this is going out over Starlink from me to you, I'm even more interested/impressed.

It is cool.

It's also a lot easier to sit out at night and find a satellite. When my daughter was little, we had to watch for 10-15 minutes before seeing one. Now I can glance up and usually spot one within 10 seconds if the area I'm in doesn't have too much light pollution. I know not all I see are Starlink, but I bet a decent percentage are.

These days, if I want to make satellite spotting a little more difficult, I only look for polar orbit satellites. It might take a few minutes to see one of them.

Starlink's dark coating may be working as well. I know I see a lot more really dim satellites these days. It's not just light pollution and old eyes causing them to be dim either.
