Default Question on Saturn V wraps

Just getting started on the wraps on the Estes Saturn V 1969.
Question is on cutting them off the sheet.
I understand the side to side trim close on one side and leave some on other side to trim to fit around tube.
But top and bottom trim. Cut right up to corrugation or do you leave some on for gluing.
If you leave some on where do you position on the reference line you draw at the corrugation on at the end of plastic.
Thanks
