Default Space X Scale Model Discontinued?

I was just watching a YT video about the scale Falcon 9 model rocket Space X sold via their online store; went to the website and discovered the model is no longer offered for sale. When did that happened?

It's a bummer as I was planning on buying a new one after losing my model, last flown down at Robert's Ranch in Needville, TX. On that flight, the main section separated from the nose section and free fell somewhere on the farmland. I gave up looking for it due to the high grass and approaching darkness.

Yes, that picture was on the NARCON coverage thread on Facebook, someone quoted John Boren (Or Boren himself chimed in that Estes isn't making the Falcon - 9 model).

Eight or ten years ago, SpaceX approached Estes about making a model of the Falcon 9 rocket.

Estes management wasn't interested back then.

I am sure they are kicking themselves now.

The method used by the Space X to install & secure the clear fins for the Falcon 9 model was a real winner. The main thing I didn't like about that model was the use of cheap foam to simulate the "landing legs."

As soon as I learned that Boyce had 3D made landing legs and grid fins to enhance the Space X model, I ordered those and installed the parts. Made a huge difference in the appearance of the completed model.

From my understanding Boyce Aerospace will be working on a possible Falcon Heavy builders kit since Space X has dropped their kit.
