Is that a line from the book World Enough, and Time by James Kahn?

No, I just made it up. I've never heard of that movie (or book?). If that isn't the actor James Kahn, I don't know who that James Kahn is, either.

No, he was a sci-fi writer. I read his books while we were under the polar ice. The actor’s name is spelled C-A-A-N.

Nothing wrong with QUALITY Ethyl Alcohol beverages.
I prefer Lagavulin 16 Scotch Whisky, Remy Martin XO Cognac, and Flor de Cana 18 Rum.

Flor de Cana Rum. YUMMY! I discovered that stuff while I was on a job in Honduras many years ago. It’s liquid candy!

When we vacation in Playa Mujeres, Mexico at Dreams/Secrets resort, we drink PLENTY of Flor De Cana 12 and 18. It's delicious. Papa's Pilar is also a very good spiced rum. That is like an ultra-premium version of Captain Morgan, but 94 proof.
Just this year Flor de Cana rums 5 through 25 became available in Michigan, but hard to find.
