My guess is that YORF doesn't like posts that include snips using the Snipping Tool when I put them in the body of the post.

You have FAILED your test.
Immediately report to the remedial rocket forum for punitive action.

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Hey GH,

It was your post regarding the Sky Raider I was trying to reply to:

I've had a 'Parts Kit' bagged up since 1990 or so for an up-scaled Sky Raider using AAA's BT1.65HD tubing, creatively inspired by said company's 1987 Catalogue Cover. Originally intended for Vulcan's E55 and E60 motors, it sat in the bag long enough for the motors to go OOP. I may still use one under the NARs Fly-An-Old-Motor-And-Let-Us-Know-How-It-Goes program, but the Aerotech F67 would probably be pretty impressive.

That sounds great...an upscaled SkyRaider !

I would probably try a known good motor like an Aerotech SU 29mm F42T or F52T before using one of those old Vulcan motors.
An Aerotech 24mm RMS F24W or F39T would be good if you adapt down to 24mm.
Even an E30 or E28 would most likely fly it ok.

All fine motors indeed, but the kick of a Vulcan E60 is hard to beat. I think I’ve mentioned here in previous threads flying the AAA Lasorsonic 1350 and 1650 on the E55/E60 as well as Aerotech E50’s. I really miss those motors.

I agree about the Vulcan E60... A great motor.
I was just offering you may want to fly it a couple times successfully on modern motors before risking it on a 'vintage' motor that may/may not have a correct working delay element.

Yeah, well, that’s probably the sensible thing to...
Wait a minute: Who are you and what have you done with GH?!?!
You seriously expect us to believe that he would argue caution and common sense over “just shove a motor in it’s butt and fire the **** thing”?

Scott, I think GH’s account has been hacked!

Lol.
I still believe in BIG POWER, but I generally use a prudently moderate motor for at least the first flight of a new rocket.
