I have been to the science museum since they received the shuttle. Well worth the trip. They also have a SR-71. The tank will make a nice addition, but what about a solid?
The shuttle is in a building and you can walk around underneath and behind it just fine. They have specialists to answer questions and despite drilling pretty deep on some they were well versed in tech details. I was in Marina Del Rey recently. Closest thing to LAX for boats and the beach. It is where famous Venice Beach is. I went to In-N-Out with some visitors from UK on a layover. I figured they would mothball all the SRB segments so they can force usage on future projects to make sure Orbital ATK keeps chugging.
