Default Estes USS Hyperion Fin Can

Time to unleash another Hydrazine-designed creation upon the public! What is it this time? A fin can, plus a fin marking guide, for the Estes USS Hyperion kit (#1383). It is designed to fit the BT-50 Estes airframe tubing.

There are also 3, 5, and 6-finned versions as well as a version you can print in which you can add your own rings using BT-60, BT-80, and BT-101 Estes airframe tubing.

The nose cone (PNC-50CA) used in the Hyperion kit has been designed and already posted recently.

Both can be downloaded for free and printed on your 3D printer.
Enjoy!

Have to also chime in with a huge KUDOS about your work, and posting / sharing.

I've alredy printed the hyperion cone, and a few others

debating the fin can, I'm a balsa purist, lol.

Any hope for the PNC-50 used on the USSF FIrflash and others ?

( I need to figure out how to do the cad, been playing some with tinkercad but still not sure what I'm doing ),

Thanks again.

AL

"debating the fin can, I'm a balsa purist, lol."

That is why I made sure to include a fin template!

"Any hope for the PNC-50 used on the USSF Fireflash and others?"

I have a PNC-50SP nose cone from an old Estes Argosy rocket I bought from someone else several years ago. It looks like it is a nose cone from the Black Brant kit (PNC-50BB/PNC-50V) but they added a cockpit area to it.

I'll put that on my list. I have a few other projects in the works that I will post in the future ahead of this nose cone.
