OK, now on the lighter side, and BTW...This is real...

An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” the old saying goes.

But what do you have to consume to protect yourself from coronavirus? According to one Hindu group in India, the answer is simple – a tall glass of cow urine.
Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (All India Hindu Union) will be hosting a cow urine drinking party to test their belief that the golden substance will help protect their bodies against the pandemic known as COVID-19. Because their religion says that cows are sacred, their urine is alleged to have medicinal properties.
“We have been drinking cow urine for 21 years, we also take bath in cow dung. We have never felt the need to consume English medicine,” said Om Prakash, one of the pee party attendees.

I had planned to bring my 2019 issues of Sport Rocketry mags to NIRCON for anyone that wanted them.

If anyone wants them PM your mailing address to me.

I just got word that our school system will be out from March 19 through April 10th. This includes a scheduled spring break. We have no reported cases in our region. The closest ones are in Memphis and Nashville, both about 115 miles from me in opposite directions.

The governor of Michigan has closed all restaurants for dine-in patrons. Take-out only to avoid mass gathering.
Closing casinos too.
Production facilities to remain open so far.

I'm down. I've been consuming steak and burgers since I had choppers.

My wife heard this morning that today’s announcement might be a nationwide curfew. Panicked, she sat up and said “ I need to get to Hobby Lobby!” REALLY

The urgency was getting all the Easter projects done for kids and grandkids. I could not bring myself to tell her we may not be allowed to leave town if it gets really bad.

OK, a Hobby Lobby stop makes sense, since I am out of BT-50 tubes, which I need for my upscaled Estes Tiger Shark. So I bought a Multi-Roc for parts...

I suppose I could have raided one of my existing kits, like a Commache-3, but why not just buy another kit? Also got more 30-minute epoxy. I think I have enough stock now, of kits, parts, and building supplies, to last for months.

John Boren, if you’re out there, I promise to replace the tubes I take, and build the Multi-Roc sometime ...

But stay tuned for a picture of the Super Tiger Shark!

Don't know about the US, but in Canada everyone is stocking up on toilet paper. You literally can't find a roll anywhere!

I've always taken a contrarian approach...........I'm stocking up on beer.

Lee, the Tiger Shark is my favorite rocket that I've never built. Really looking forward to pics of yours (and flight reports too, if possible). You may inspire me to try a downscale to BT-5.

Just went to the local supermarket.
No toilet paper.
Shelves look like Soviet era Moscow.

Random phony SNEEZIN' got people to back off quick.
My significant other thought it was hilarious.
