Default Unusual Scale Model Subjects

The Dubai airshow is underway and the United Arab Emirates displayed a sounding rocket with the typical, classic lines that work so well in model rockets. Hopefully I can find some better views. Trying to glean dimensions from a subject photographed at an oblique angle is part art, part science (ok, mostly science - if you know how to do it, which I do not...). The rocket is called, appropriately, "Ambition 1."

Also, I stumbled on these photos of the Nigerian "space" program. These may be nothing more than nationally-sponsored high-power rockets, but the shapes and colors are unique and interesting!

Any low costs for launches will be more than offset by the epic corruption Nigeria is famous for....

Awesome work Dave! You are truly a search engine Jedi! That clinches it - I'll have to build a TLAR verson of this thing!

I LIKE TLAR scale modeling.
Fits WELL with my home laziness credo/motto of GEID "Good Enuff, Ity'll Doo", which is a motto FAR MORE people should embrace.

FARRRRR too many people expect Rolls Royce perfection but are only willing to pay for piss-poor Yugo quality. If you are not willing to pay for quality, you deserve CRAP.
