Default Racy Scenes of Classic TV

I was just watching an episode of Emergency!, The Hard Hours (s3e19) from 1973 and took note of Dr. Early's magazine stash he was reading while he was recovering from surgery. The New Yorker magazine was on top of the stack on his tray, but he pulled a magazine out from under the covers after everyone left his room. It was the December 1972 issue of Penthouse Magazine! 🤣 This was a prime time family show on NBC in 1973!!!!

The episode title may have been more apt than anyone imagined!

Sounds good to me.

All of Western Europe is far less PRUDISH than our country as a whole.

I watched "Emergency" back in the day.

The local T.V. station interviewed the largest city in the state Fire Department Chief.

The Chief stated that the show saw more action in one episode than he saw all year.

I'm surprised they showed that magazine. They knew their audience was young male teenagers.

I was 16 when that show aired, gee I think that I had that magazine or maybe it was Playboy?

I guess his doctors wanted to make sure he got “up” as soon as possible after surgery ...
