I didn't know it, but the plans for that ol' Big Ben are right here on YORF.

A quick snippet of the specific portion of the instructions seems to indicate the same plastic fin unit as the others, though the perspective of the attached graphic still makes it a bit difficult to compare directly. However, I'd be doubtful that MRC developed two different but very similar looking plastic fin cans for this line.

I do have an open Enforcer kit and all the aspects of the fin can look the same (e.g., thicker root edges of the fins tapering down to a sharp edge at the outer edge, as can be seen in the attached graphic).

After seeing this, I'm inclined to believe you.

The MRC products came out during a time I was extremely involved in testing and cataloging rocketry items.

I have several files on MRC product containing marketing materials and testing I performed on these products.

I heard many stories about what went on 'behind the scenes' with the MRC rockets.

I even have pictures of the second generation of Concept II kits that were never released.

My plan is to someday write about the history of these products.

For now, I will leave you with this...

Any scale models in the second generation? You can't just tease like that - post a picture!

Excellent graphic,

I noted in my logs that some MRC delays were very long, my frame of reference being the same model flown on an Estes motor, it's nice to see it confirmed.

MRC delays were longer and the motors had less total impulse.

Combine these two factors and one could have some 'interesting' flights.
