Default Beer themed Estes V2...

Well I have been away from this forum and model rocketry for quite a spell. Have a box of kits that need building and decided to get back into it with the V2. The build went pretty well and though I normally paint just as the kit suggests, I decided to finish this one in a unique way, based off of my favorite beer, Lagunitas The Waldos Special Ale. The old silver stripe decals would not release from the paper backing well which caused me some grief, had to paint them on instead but no big deal it came out okay and thought I would post a pic. Glad to be back at it, can't wait to hit my local flying field soon while the weather is still acceptable.

Man, that is just excellent! I'd love to try that beer too..........if I ever get back to the CA wine country I'm going to drop in to Petaluma. What's the percent alcohol?

12% abv, just loaded with tropical fruit, pineapple, mango ect. Lagunitas IPA x3. It is their limited '420' release 2nd week of April each year. Little Sumpin' Extra has a similar flavor profile at a lower abv if you can find that.

Excellent idea!
That got me thinking about a Texas themed V2 using some Shiner Bock Beer labels.
