Default Canaroc pieces

I posted this at Facebox, but all anyone seems to do there is like the photo so far. I picked these two pieces up several years ago when someone was selling a set of resin Canaroc parts. (Advertised as vintage, but I'm not quite that daft.) I used everything except these two pieces, and was planning to use the nose cone alone to build a Black Brant III, but the transition has me wondering if I have the parts for a Black Brant IV. Can anyone identify the transition shown here? The one in the instructions seems to have straight sides, while this one is curved.

Bill-
That definitely does NOT look like a correct transition for a BBIV.
Maybe it is for one of their "futuristic" designs.
Start thumbing through the Canaroc literature on Ninfinger.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Almost looks like it could be a boat tail rear cone...maybe?

I checked that, but I wanted another opinion. I have a Black Brant IV that I bought at NARCON from ASP. I thought maybe the Orbitron, but that doesn't look right either.

Doesn't look like it. It's set up as a transition on both ends. The shape suggests the possibility of a boat tail, but the setup is wrong.

Looks like a curved transition on the Orbitron. Never had the kit, but do have the Black Brant V in a rather beat up box from decades of moves and an Starship Antares kit (my daughter's name is Antares).

You would have to check the transition dimensions against the Obitron's .

I still owe you lunch, Bill. How many years (decades) has it been?

Chas

Bill
Pics of my Orbitron. Hope these help!
Transition is definitely for it.
Nose cone looks to be for the Black Brant.

Excellent! The catalog pics didn't show it that well. Guess I'll start collecting the other parts now. Thanks for checking.
